Job Details:

The Virtual Design Construction Manager will provide routine and non-routine Building Information Modeling (BIM) administration and coordination to assigned projects.

This position will be responsible for providing more complex models and documents, providing BIM technical support to internal teams and leading facilitation of 3D coordination.

Job requirements

VDC MANAGER FAMILY – CORE

  • Manages VDC processes and activities to support assigned projects.

  • Provides models and documents to complete scope as determined with VDC/BIM project teams.

  • Creates effective project documentation; meeting agendas, meeting minutes, and constraint logs.

  • Reads and interprets shop drawings, submittals, product data items into the BIM process.

  • Supports operations with the RFI process for BIM related items.

  • Manages and maintains a productive and efficient BIM process.

  • Supports VDC Directors to ensure deliverables are maintained to meet project objectives.

  • Maintains working relationships with owners, subcontractors and project teams.

  • Reads BIM execution plans, front end scopes of work, and makes sure project requirements are met.

  • Develops composite model by assembling 3D content and creates new models for content
