ServiceNow Business Analyst (BA) plays a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. This role involves analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and delivering data-driven recommendations to stakeholders. The BA collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure that business requirements are clearly defined, documented, and translated into effective solutions.
What You'll Do:
Must Have:
Ability to create and write user stories
Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience in Information Technology
Has worked on agile team or has 2+ years of agile experience
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
ServiceNow Business Analyst will collaborate with users to design solutions that meet business requirements
Evaluate current processes and identify, create and implement process improvements
Work with development team to design solutions that meet business needs
Develop and execute test cases for development work delivered by team members
Design and implement event management practice in ServiceNow
Collaborate with users to incorporate solutions delivered by development team into operational workstreams
Provide training and support to end-users and stakeholders
Job requirements
What We’re Looking For:
Has worked on agile team or has 2+ years of agile experience
Ability to create and write user stories
Understanding of Software Development Methodologies
Strong problem solving skills
Strong collaboration skills
Knowledge of ITIL processes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, PowerApps
Knowledge and understanding of incident and IT alerting platforms such as ServiceNow and xMatters
Knowledge and understanding of APM and Logging products such as SiteScope, Dynatrace, Splunk.
