Key Responsibilities
Cloud Architecture: Design, implement, and optimize secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure leveraging AWS core services (VPC, EC2, Lambda, IAM, S3, ECS/EKS, etc.).
CI/CD Leadership: Architect and manage enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, integrating static code analysis, unit testing, and automated deployments.
Infrastructure Automation: Develop modular Terraform configurations and reusable automation patterns to enable rapid environment provisioning and consistency.
DevSecOps Governance: Enforce compliance and security best practices across build and deployment pipelines, integrating secrets management, policy-as-code, and role-based access controls.
Monitoring & Observability: Implement advanced monitoring frameworks using Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, and ELK stack to maintain system reliability and performance visibility.
Mentorship & Collaboration: Serve as a trusted technical advisor and mentor to engineers, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement across teams.
Incident Response & Root Cause Analysis: Lead the troubleshooting of complex CI/CD or cloud infrastructure issues, performing postmortems and identifying process improvements.
Job requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
10+ years of total IT experience; 5+ years in a senior/principal DevOps or Cloud Engineering role
Deep expertise in AWS (preferred) or Azure/GCP
Hands-on experience designing enterprise CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI)
Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes/EKS, and container security practices
Terraform or CloudFormation experience for IaC
Scripting expertise in Python or Bash for automation
Strong grasp of cloud security, identity, and compliance frameworks (IAM, KMS, Security Groups)
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and mentorship skills
