Senior ServiceNow Analyst
Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow Analyst with a strong business analysis background to collaborate closely with developers and business stakeholders. This is a functional/business-facing role—ideal for professionals skilled in process mapping, requirements gathering, and driving ServiceNow solutions without hands-on coding responsibilities.
The successful candidate will contribute to both a greenfield ServiceNow implementation and support an existing heavily customized legacy instance.
Location: Reston, Virginia (Hybrid – 2 days onsite per week)
Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities
Act as a liaison between business teams and ServiceNow developers to define, document, and implement effective solutions.
Gather requirements, analyze workflows, and document processes for various ServiceNow modules.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions align with business objectives.
Support and optimize Software Asset Management (SAM), Hardware Asset Management (HAM), and IT Asset Management (ITAM).
Contribute to the setup and success of the greenfield ServiceNow implementation.
Ensure compliance with SOX controls and IT governance best practices.
Facilitate meetings, communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical users, and manage expectations.
Job requirements
Required Qualifications
8+ years of IT experience (or 6+ with a Master’s degree) with strong ServiceNow expertise as a Business Analyst.
Deep knowledge of ServiceNow modules: SAM, HAM, ITAM (best practices for both on-prem and SaaS).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.
Prior experience working in a SOX-compliant environment preferred.
Exposure to ITOM modules is a plus.
Must be local to Reston, VA, or willing to relocate before joining (onsite 2 days/week – Wed/Thu).
Must NOT have federal/public sector background experience.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
