Position Overview

The Senior Network Administrator or Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and securing the company’s network infrastructure. This includes LAN, WAN, VPN, wireless, security systems, cloud networking, and monitoring. This position is on-site and requires hands-on technical expertise in enterprise networking and system security.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, Security+, Fortinet NSE, Azure Network Engineer Associate, or AWS networking certifications

  • Experience in manufacturing or industrial IT environments

  • Experience with automation platforms such as Ansible or Terraform

  • Knowledge of VoIP systems, wireless controllers, and SD-WAN solutions

Job requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered)

  • 7+ years of experience in network administration or network engineering

  • Experience with TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, subnetting, and segmentation

  • Hands-on experience with Cisco, Fortinet, or Juniper devices

  • Experience configuring firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, IDS/IPS

  • Working knowledge of SIEM tools and security log analysis

  • Experience with Azure or AWS networking (VPCs, VPN gateways, hybrid integration)

  • Proficiency with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, or Nagios

  • Strong troubleshooting and packet analysis skills (Wireshark)

  • Ability to work onsite in Fort Worth, TX
