Position Overview

We are hiring a Project Manager (Construction) for a contract role at Michelin’s Louisville, KY facility. The selected candidate will lead a new construction project involving a 4,000 sq. ft. single-story Welcome Center, as well as supporting instrumentation and security upgrades.

Job requirements

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the construction of a 4,000 sq. ft. single-floor building (Welcome Center)

  • Supervise the addition of meters and instruments to process lines (e.g., steam, compressed air)

  • Lead upgrades to the site's security system

  • Manage various smaller, site-level projects as required

Mission & Key Deliverables

  • Ensure the project framework (including resource planning) aligns with objectives from the sponsor and steering committee

  • Apply the Group’s approved project methodologies (Project Sheet, Compass, GPS, Governance, Milestone Checklists)

  • Deliver on Quality, Cost, and Timing expectations

  • Lead cross-functional teams in alignment with corporate project management practices

  • Execute effective Change Management processes and drive adoption

Requirements

  • Education: B.S. or B.E. in Chemical Engineering or Civil Engineering

  • Experience: 4–6 years in construction project management, ideally in industrial or manufacturing environments

  • Citizenship: U.S. Citizens and Green Card holders only.
