SENIOR DATASTAGE ETL ENGINEER

JOB DESCRIPTION: Must have 4+ years of recent experience at a major bank (since 2017). Local candidates are preferred but if 100% committed to relo it's acceptable but not optimal. We are seeking an experienced Senior DataStage ETL Engineer to join a dynamic team within the banking industry. As a senior member, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining ETL jobs, designing efficient database architectures, and optimizing SQL performance. You will collaborate with business analysts and other stakeholders to ensure that data pipelines are robust, scalable, and meet business requirements.

Must-Have Skills & Qualifications: • 8+ years of experience working for U.S. companies within the United States. – Yes/No? • 4+ years of recent experience at a major bank (since 2017). – Yes/No? • 7+ years of experience with IBM DataStage (versions 9.1 - 11.5). - ? • 5+ years of experience with ETL using DataStage. - ? • Proficient in creating, enhancing, and supporting multiple data pipelines. – Yes/No (Years)? • Experience with RDBMS platforms (SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, Vertica) for at least 5 years. - Yes/No? • Strong SQL skills including coding procedures, functions, and triggers. – Yes/No (Years)? • Proficient in writing complex mapping, operational scripts, and triggers for data integration. – Yes/No (Years)? • 2+ years of experience with agile development practices. Yes/No? • Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly discuss development needs and recommended approaches.
