POSITION: Scaffolder Inspector

DEPARTMENT: TS – MSS

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Work Visa

DUTY HOURS: 08 Hours per Day | 6 Days per Week

LOCATION: As per Project / Site Requirement

SALARY: SAR 5,000 + FAT (Food, Accommodation, Transportation)

JOB SUMMARY

The Scaffolder Inspector is responsible for inspecting, supervising, and ensuring the safe erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding structures in compliance with SABIC standards and HSE requirements.

Job requirements

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Inspection of Scaffolding Structures
Conduct thorough inspections of scaffolding before, during, and after erection to ensure all structures comply with approved engineering drawings, technical specifications, and SABIC safety standards. Identify and report any non-conformities or potential hazards.

2. Supervision of Scaffolding Activities
Oversee daily scaffolding operations to ensure safe work practices are consistently followed. Monitor the proper use of materials and equipment, verifying quality standards and adherence to approved installation procedures.

3. Safety Audits & Risk Assessments
Perform regular safety audits, toolbox talks, and risk assessments to proactively identify hazards related to scaffolding activities. Implement corrective measures to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with HSE regulations.

4. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain detailed and accurate inspection reports, logs, and records according to SABIC procedures. Ensure documentation is updated timely for audits, compliance, and future reference.

5. Training & Guidance
Provide on-the-job training, guidance, and mentorship to scaffolders on safe erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding. Promote awareness of safety standards, proper techniques, and load-handling practices.

QUALIFICATION

  • Education: Technical Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent in Scaffolding, Civil, or Industrial Safety.

  • Skills: Strong knowledge of scaffolding standards, safety codes, and load-bearing capacities.
