Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Group Reporting, financial consolidation, reporting, and AMS support. The consultant will work closely with Finance teams and support global, multi-entity financial environments.

Must-Have Technical / Functional Skills

  • 10+ years of relevant SAP experience.

  • Strong hands-on experience with SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) and/or SAP Group Reporting.

  • Experience with SAP Analysis for Office (AFO) and financial reporting dashboards.

  • Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager or SAP Cloud ALM.

  • Familiarity with IFRS 18 reporting standards.

  • SAP certification in SAP S/4HANA Finance or SAP Group Reporting.

  • Experience working in a global, multi-entity consolidation environment.

  • Prior experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.

  • Experience supporting SAP Finance applications in an AMS/support environment.

Job requirements

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day AMS support for SAP Group Reporting, including incident management, problem resolution, and change requests in accordance with SLA commitments.

  • Configure and maintain SAP Group Reporting objects, including:

    • Consolidation units

    • Versions

    • Hierarchies

    • Elimination rules

    • Currency translation methods

  • Support month-end and year-end financial close activities, ensuring accurate and timely consolidation of financial data.

  • Collaborate with Finance teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions.

  • Manage and resolve tickets through ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.

  • Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive actions for recurring issues.

  • Support integration between SAP Group Reporting and SAP S/4HANA Universal Journal, as well as other feeder systems.

  • Participate in SAP upgrades, patches, enhancements, and related testing activities.

  • Conduct unit testing, regression testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

  • Maintain functional and technical documentation, including configuration guides, test scripts, and SOPs.

  • Support intercompany reconciliation, eliminations, and financial reporting processes.

  • Work with SAP Analysis for Office and related reporting/data visualization capabilities.

  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge-sharing activities within the AMS team.

  • Stay current with SAP product roadmaps and emerging SAP Group Reporting capabilities.
