Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO – FSCM Consultant with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA FICO, Accounts Receivable (AR), and Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience supporting and implementing SAP FICO solutions, preferably within the Construction, Manufacturing, or Service industries.

The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to design, configure, test, implement, and support SAP FICO solutions.

Location: Atlanta, GA – Onsite
Duration: 12+ Months Contract

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Business, or a related field preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 100% functional and production support for SAP FICO, with primary focus on Accounts Receivable, FSCM, and Asset Accounting.

  • Configure and support SAP FICO functionality based on business requirements.

  • Work with business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure SAP solutions meet business needs while following standardized processes.

  • Support and participate in SAP FICO/S4HANA implementations and enhancements.

  • Design, configure, test, and document SAP FICO solutions.

  • Support Credit Management, Collections Management, and Dispute Management processes.

  • Collaborate with ABAP and PI/integration teams to define and implement required developments and interfaces.

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions.

  • Consult with business users on SAP functionality and best practices.

  • Handle break/fix issues and production emergencies.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve SAP FICO functional issues.

  • Develop functional specifications and coordinate with developers on technical solutions.

  • Conduct testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing support.

  • Develop and deliver training to business users as required.

  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional SAP teams to ensure project milestones and deadlines are met.

  • Research and recommend improvements to SAP FICO, Credit Management, Dispute Management, and Collections Management processes.

  • Participate in team meetings and provide regular updates on project activities, issues, and progress.

Job requirements

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • 8+ years of SAP experience, with strong experience in SAP FICO.

  • At least 2 end-to-end SAP FICO implementation projects.

  • Strong experience working with Construction, Manufacturing, Service, or similar industries.

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA FICO implementations is preferred.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Accounts Receivable (AR), including end-to-end configuration and business scenarios.

  • Extensive experience with SAP FSCM, including:

    • Credit Management

    • Collections Management

    • Dispute Management

    • Third-party application integrations/interfaces

  • Strong hands-on SAP FICO configuration experience.

  • Experience with FICO design, testing, training, and implementation.

  • Strong understanding of FICO integration points with other SAP modules, including:

    • MM

    • WM

    • SD

    • PP

    • PM

    • QM

  • Experience analyzing and supporting FICO business processes and end users.

  • Ability to prepare functional and programming specifications and work closely with technical/development teams.

  • Experience working with third-party application interfaces.

  • Basic understanding of ABAP and PI/Integration technologies.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP Asset Accounting.

  • Construction or Manufacturing industry experience.

  • SAP FICO / SAP S/4HANA certification.

  • Experience with additional SAP modules such as MM, WM, SD, QM, PP, and PM.

  • Experience with multiple third-party application integrations.

  • Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA FICO and FSCM functionality.
