Job description
· Have strong understanding of the HSE issues, practices and behavioural aspects in the Power & Gas EPC business.
· Able to lead a team of HSE personnel such as HSE officers, Hygiene officers etc.
· Sound understanding of the HSE Management System and HSE legislative requirements.
· Ability to develop and implement HSE plans, Welfare plans,
· Emergency response procedures/plans and site specific HSE
· procedures / work instructions.
· Practical experience in implementation of SSOW (PTW/ WMS/ Risk Assessment etc.)
· Ability to conduct training/awareness sessions on relevant HSE procedures applicable to the SOW.
· Ability to conduct HSE audits and inspections.
· Ability to investigate incidents, identify immediate and root causes.
· Ability to speak, read and write English with good communication skills.
Effective interpersonal and verbal & written communication skills
Job requirements
Bachelor’s degree in civil, Electrical and Mechanical
OR HSE discipline (from an institution of higher learning authorized to grant academic degrees in the country of issue)
Minimum requirment:
NEBOSH IGC or Equivalent
Any other HSE certifications
Mandatory
Lead auditor ISO 45001/ ISO 14001 or equivalent.
Incident Investigation techniques.
Additional HSE Trainings / Certifications will be added advantage
Minimum 5-9 years’ experience in HSE in EPC, installation and/or commissioning projects / operations in the Power & gas industries.
