Safety / EHS Engineers & Officers – Transmission Line & Substation Projects - KSA / UAE / INDIA
Locations:
KSA & UAE (On-Site) – Safety / EHS Engineers
Kutch, Gujarat (India) – HSE / Safety Officers (PMC – TL & Substation)
Industry: High-Voltage Transmission Lines & Substation Projects
Experience Required: 5–10 Years
Joining: 30–60 Days (Immediate joiners preferred)
Certification: NEBOSH – Mandatory
Eligibility Criteria (Common for Both Locations)
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
Civil / Electrical / Mechanical (regular college only)
NEBOSH Certification – Mandatory
5–10 years of experience in HSE/EHS roles
Hands-on experience in any of the following:
Overhead Transmission Lines (220kV / 400kV / 765kV)
Substation Projects (AIS/GIS)
Experience in EHV projects preferred
Strong English communication skills (spoken & written)
Valid passport with at least 9 months validity (for UAE roles)
Preference for KSA & UAE roles: Prior approvals or work experience with DEWA / TRANSCO / TAQA / SEC
Job requirements
Key Responsibilities (Common)
Implement and monitor Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) standards
Conduct site safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions
Perform routine site inspections and audits
Identify hazards and conduct risk assessments
Enforce compliance with:
Permit to Work (PTW)
Work Method Statements (WMS)
Lead and document incident/accident investigations
Ensure statutory and client HSE compliance
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly HSE reports
Promote safety-first culture across all work fronts
Participate in emergency drills and safety campaigns
Project Exposure (Preferred)
Transmission Line activities:
Foundations
Tower erection
Stringing
Insulator installation
ROW and conductor handling
Substation activities:
GIS/AIS equipment installation
Transformers and switchgear
Control buildings
Civil, mechanical, and electrical BOP works
Cabling and trenches
