Job description

We are seeking an experienced Refractory Specialist to maintain furnace refractory linings and ensure proper heat insulation and thermal efficiency in melting operations. The candidate will be responsible for inspection, repair, and supervision of refractory applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect and maintain refractory lining of furnaces and ladles

  • Supervise refractory installation, gunning, and patch repair work

  • Ensure proper heat insulation and thermal efficiency

  • Monitor refractory wear and schedule maintenance activities

  • Coordinate shutdown and relining activities

  • Ensure safety compliance during refractory work

  • Maintain inspection and maintenance records

  • Guide and supervise refractory technicians and workers

Job requirements

  • Refractory Application Certification (Mandatory)

  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in refractory maintenance

  • Experience in furnace and ladle refractory lining

  • Knowledge of refractory materials and heat insulation techniques

  • Understanding of high-temperature industrial safety standards

  • Supervisory and team handling experience

  • Salary: SAR 4,000 – 4,500 + FAT (Food, Accommodation & Transportation)
