Job description
As a Recruitment Team Lead at Hudson Manpower, you will oversee and drive the success of our recruitment team, ensuring the delivery of high quality candidates to clients across IT, Engineering, Energy, and emerging sectors. This role goes beyond standard recruitment management, it's about strategic leadership, operational excellence, and building a culture of accountability and performance.
You’ll act as a trusted partner to leadership, manage and mentor recruiters, ensure client satisfaction, and implement innovative recruitment strategies to meet business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Performance Management
Manage day to day operations of the recruitment team, including task delegation, performance tracking, and meeting delivery targets.
Mentor, coach, and develop team members to enhance sourcing quality, client communication, and candidate engagement.
Conduct regular team meetings, daily huddles, and weekly reviews to maintain clarity of goals and performance expectations.
Recruitment Strategy & Execution
Oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle, from requirement gathering to candidate onboarding, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
Drive innovative sourcing strategies across job portals, LinkedIn, referrals, and headhunting to attract top talent for niche and bulk roles.
Manage and prioritize multiple open positions, ensuring team focus aligns with business and client priorities.
Client Account Management & Delivery
Serve as the primary point of contact for client accounts assigned to the team.
Conduct client calls to gather requirements, provide delivery updates, and address concerns to maintain strong client relationships.
Ensure candidate submissions meet client expectations in terms of quality, skill fitment, and presentation.
Process Improvement & Reporting
Optimize recruitment processes, ensuring ATS usage, streamlined candidate pipelines, and compliance with company standards.
Maintain accurate recruitment dashboards, trackers, and MIS reports for leadership and clients.
Analyze team performance data to identify gaps, propose solutions, and drive continuous improvement.
Business Development & Strategic Support
Collaborate with the Business Development team to support new client pitches by sharing market insights and recruitment capabilities.
Assist in proposals or onboarding plans for new projects or clients as required.
Stakeholder Management & Communication
Facilitate effective communication within the team and across departments to ensure smooth delivery operations.
Represent the recruitment team in management meetings, sharing updates, challenges, and strategic recommendations.
Special Projects & Initiatives
Lead or support initiatives such as recruitment campaigns, internal hiring drives, and employer branding projects.
Stay updated on industry trends to recommend and implement innovative recruitment practices.
Job requirements
Ideal Candidate Profile
Minimum 4-6 years of recruitment experience, with at least 1-2 years in a team leadership or mentorship role.
Proven expertise in recruitment across IT or Engineering sectors (experience in Oil & Gas or Energy is a plus).
Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to present to clients professionally.
Resourceful, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.
Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with multiple priorities.
Skilled in tools such as ATS platforms, Excel, LinkedIn Recruiter, and MS Office Suite.
