Position Details:

  • Duty Hours: 08 Hours / Day, 5 Days / Week

  • Salary Range: SAR 7,000 – SAR 10,000 (Inclusive of all allowances)

Job Summary:
The RCM Instrument Engineer will lead and support Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) initiatives for instrumentation, control, and automation systems. The role focuses on enhancing asset reliability, availability, and performance through structured RCM methodology in accordance with SAE JA1011 / JA1012 standards across large-scale industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and execute RCM studies for instrumentation and control systems

  • Apply RCM methodology to define optimal maintenance strategies

  • Perform FMEA / FMECA and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)

  • Develop and optimize PM plans, calibration routines, and inspection strategies

  • Analyze instrument failure data, alarms, trends, and condition monitoring inputs

  • Conduct RCM and FMECA workshops with cross-functional teams

  • Train and mentor instrumentation personnel on RCM best practices

  • Use GE APM Meridium and SAP CMMS for reliability analysis and documentation

Job requirements

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation / Electronics / Electrical Engineering or related field

  • Minimum 8+ years experience in instrumentation maintenance or reliability

  • Minimum 3+ years hands-on RCM experience (SAE JA1011 / JA1012)

  • Strong knowledge of field instruments, analyzers, control valves, PLC, DCS, and SIS

  • Experience in Oil & Gas or heavy industrial environments

  • Hands-on experience with GE APM Meridium & SAP

  • CMRP Certification – Mandatory

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, or Refinery environments

  • Familiarity with international instrumentation and functional safety standards

  • Ability to work in multicultural project teams
