We are currently hiring for the position of RCM Instrument Engineer for KSA
POSITION DETAILS
Position: RCM Instrument Engineer
Location: Saudi Arabia
Employment Type: Work Visa
Working Hours: 8 Hours per Day / 5 Days per Week
SALARY
The salary will be based strictly on the candidate's total relevant experience:
Total Experience in the similar background should be, Minimum 8 years to 11 years is Must
Important: The salary is fixed according to the above experience bracket. There will be NO salary negotiation after selection.
JOB PURPOSE
The RCM Instrument Engineer will lead and support Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) initiatives for instrumentation, control and automation systems, with the objective of improving equipment reliability, availability and lifecycle performance.
The position requires practical knowledge and hands-on application of RCM methodology in accordance with SAE JA1011 / JA1012.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and execute RCM studies for instrumentation and control systems in accordance with SAE JA1011 / JA1012.
Apply the seven RCM questions to identify appropriate maintenance strategies.
Develop reliability strategies for:
Field instrumentation
Process analyzers
Control valves
PLC systems
DCS
SIS / Safety Instrumented Systems
Conduct FMEA / FMECA studies to identify potential failure modes and their consequences.
Perform RCA / RCFA and develop effective corrective and preventive actions.
Analyze instrument failure data, alarms, trends, condition-monitoring information and maintenance history.
Calculate and analyze MTBF and use reliability data to optimize preventive maintenance and calibration frequencies.
Develop and optimize instrumentation maintenance plans, calibration routines and inspection strategies.
Lead and facilitate RCM / FMECA workshops with multidisciplinary teams.
Train and mentor instrumentation technicians and engineers in RCM principles and reliability practices.
Utilize GE APM Meridium and SAP CMMS for reliability and maintenance activities.
Support asset health monitoring, bad-actor analysis and continuous reliability improvement initiatives.
Coordinate with maintenance, operations, engineering and other relevant stakeholders.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in:
Oil & Gas
Petrochemical
Refinery
Power
Utilities / Industrial facilities
Experience with applicable international engineering/reliability standards and working in multidisciplinary and multicultural environments will be an advantage.
Job requirements
MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
✅ Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation / Electronics / Electrical Engineering or related discipline
✅ Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in Instrumentation Maintenance / Reliability / Engineering
✅ Minimum 3+ years of hands-on RCM experience
✅ Hands-on RCM experience must be based on SAE JA1011 / JA1012
✅ Experience working on large-scale industrial / EPC projects
✅ Strong technical knowledge of:
Field Instruments
Process Analyzers
Control Valves
PLC
DCS
SIS
✅ Strong experience in FMEA / FMECA
✅ Strong experience in RCA / RCFA
✅ Hands-on experience with GE APM Meridium
✅ Hands-on experience with SAP CMMS / SAP PM
✅ CMRP Certification is MANDATORY
