Job description
Job Summary:
Perform quality inspections, verifications, monitoring, and control of quality control activities associated with blasting / painting activities to ensure adherence to quality standards as outlined in the project specifications, tender documents, work instructions, procedures, and relevant manuals.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and execute Quality Control Inspection activities specifically for blasting and painting operations, ensuring adherence to Quality Management System (QMS) standards and procedures.
Monitor project progress and promptly report any issues or delays to the Supervisor to facilitate timely resolutions.
Ensure strict compliance with inspection and test procedures applicable to assigned projects, maintaining the highest quality standards.
Conduct both in-process and final inspections of painting activities to prevent rework and guarantee quality
outcomes.
5. Advise stopping work and initiate immediate rectification measures in instances of direct non-compliance with quality standards.
6. Coordinate with superintendents, class surveyors, paint representatives and other third-party inspectors for timely execution of coating inspections.
7. Ensure that all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and quality requirements are strictly followed throughout the operation.
8. Document inspection findings and maintain accurate records of quality control activities to support compliance and continuous improvement.
9 Participate in training and development initiatives to enhance team capabilities and knowledge regarding quality control standards and practices.

Job requirements
Qualifications:
• Diploma in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Nace 1 / Frosio certification
Experience:
• Min 3 years' experience in coating inspection, production supervision & related coating activities.
