QC Inspector - Welding- Qatar

We are looking for an experienced QC Inspector – Welding for a reputed contracting company involved in Refinery, Petrochemical, and Fertilizer projects in Qatar.

Position Details

• Position: QC Inspector – Welding

• Location: Qatar

• Employment Type: Full-Time / Project-Based

Candidate Requirements

✅ Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering
✅ 8–9 years of relevant experience
✅ CSWIP 3.1 or 3.2.1 – Mandatory
✅ Strong experience in steel fabrication projects
✅ Experience with shutdown & turnaround projects preferred
✅ Gulf experience will be an added advantage

Key Responsibilities

✔ Inspect welding activities for piping, structural steel, and storage tanks
✔ Review and verify WPS, PQR, WQT
✔ Monitor welding, fit-up, joint preparation, and consumables
✔ Coordinate and witness NDT activities (RT, UT, MT, PT)
✔ Ensure compliance with ASME / API / AWS codes & project specifications
✔ Prepare and maintain QA/QC reports, inspection records, and dossiers
✔ Handle NCRs and follow up on corrective actions
✔ Coordinate with client and third-party inspectors
