Job description

We are hiring for one of our prestigious clients in Saudi Arabia for the following position:

Position: Project Manager – Cross-Country Pipeline
Division: PMT
Location: Saudi Arabia

Educational Qualification:

  • B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Preferred)

Experience:

  • 8–10+ years of experience in EPC Oil & Gas Projects.

  • Proven experience in the construction of Cross-Country Pipelines.

  • Strong background in Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC), Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning, and Handover of hydrocarbon facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the complete project lifecycle from conceptual design through detailed engineering, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and final handover.

  • Execute projects involving hydrocarbon facilities, cross-country pipelines, piping systems, process equipment installation, structural steel fabrication and erection, civil works, electrical & instrumentation, communication systems, and associated infrastructure.

  • Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering, procurement, construction, planning, and project control teams.

  • Manage subcontractors and ensure timely execution of project activities.

  • Review project scope, establish schedules, monitor deliverables, and ensure completion within budget and contractual timelines.

  • Monitor project performance with respect to schedule, cost, quality, safety, and HSE compliance.

  • Maintain strong relationships with clients' senior management and attend regular project review meetings.

  • Ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions throughout project execution.

  • Identify opportunities for project optimization and efficient resource utilization.

  • Prepare internal and external progress reports highlighting achievements, risks, and areas of concern.

  • Oversee project budgets and maintain financial accountability.

  • Identify, prepare, and negotiate contractual variations, change orders, and claims with clients.

  • Provide technical guidance and practical solutions to meet client requirements.

  • Support Engineering and Procurement teams throughout project execution.

  • Ensure effective planning, scheduling, project controls, and resource management.

  • Lead engineering management, procurement management, construction management, and subcontractor performance.

  • Ensure compliance with international standards, quality requirements, and QHSE procedures.

  • Coordinate project teams across all execution phases and ensure seamless communication among stakeholders.

  • Establish project administration procedures, monitor project controls, and maintain proper documentation.

  • Identify project interdependencies and proactively mitigate associated risks.

  • Conduct periodic project performance reviews and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Supervise the selection of construction tools, materials, equipment, and inventory management.

  • Review daily site progress and prepare weekly and monthly look-ahead plans.

  • Analyze project risks and implement mitigation strategies.

  • Ensure all contractual performance obligations are achieved.

  • Liaise with QHSE teams to ensure full compliance with company policies and international standards.

  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of international engineering codes and standards applicable to pipeline projects.
