Job Purpose

The Process Control System Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing process control systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations. The role includes providing technical support for automation systems and ensuring compliance with engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor, maintain, and optimize process control systems to improve plant efficiency and reliability.
Provide technical support for Distributed Control Systems (DCS), PLC, and SCADA systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve control system issues affecting plant operations.
Conduct system performance analysis and optimization to improve operational efficiency.
Participate in failure analysis and root cause investigations for process control system issues.
Ensure all systems comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company procedures.
Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to improve system reliability.
Support implementation of automation upgrades and system improvements.

Requirements

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering / Instrumentation Engineering / Control Systems Engineering or related field.

Experience:
Minimum 8–10 years of experience in Process Control Systems, preferably in Oil & Gas, Refinery, or Petrochemical industry.

Technical Skills

Experience with DCS, PLC, and SCADA systems
Knowledge of process automation and control systems
Experience in troubleshooting and system optimization
Understanding of instrumentation and control engineering standards
