Job description

• Configure PI Data Archive, PI Asset Framework (AF), PI Notifications, and PI Vision.

• Manage PI tags, security, and data integrity.

• Integrate Yokogawa DCS data using PI interfaces/connectors and map critical signals into PI AF.

• Ensure reliable, real-time data flow into PI with redundancy and failover where needed.

• Build dashboards in PI Vision for operators, maintenance teams, managers, and executives.

• Configure automated daily/shift reports for equipment health, production KPIs, and compliance metrics.

• Implement event-triggered email alerts via PI Notifications + SMTP integration (e.g., bypass, trip, abnormal vibration).

• Develop KPI scorecards for plant performance (availability, downtime, throughput).

• Continuously identify and implement new PI use cases to support O&M; and leadership visibility.

• Follow OT Cybersecurity policies when integrating PI with other systems, ensuring secure role-based access.

Job requirements

• 5+ years hands-on experience with PI System administration (PI Data Archive, PI AF, PI Notifications, PI Vision).

• Proven integration experience with Yokogawa DCS systems.

• Strong knowledge of OT data modeling and KPI design.

• Proficiency in automation and scripting (VBScript, Python, PowerShell, or PI SDK/PI Web API).

• Knowledge of reporting automation and email notification systems.

• Good understanding of cybersecurity practices in OT environments.

• Experience delivering reports and dashboards for both operations staff and executives.

• Experience working with Operations and Maintenance teams to define KPIs and dashboards.
