Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Consultant with expertise in OCI services, cloud monitoring, application performance management, automation, and Oracle Fusion application support.
Location: Atlanta, GA (Day 1 Onsite)
Duration: 6–12+ Months Contract
Key Responsibilities
Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot Oracle Fusion application performance and availability, with a focus on Customer, SCM, Financials, and Procurement modules.
Configure and manage OCI Logging services, including Log Analytics, Connector Hub, and Streaming.
Develop and maintain custom OCI dashboards for monitoring and observability.
Manage and monitor Oracle Autonomous Databases.
Monitor Oracle SaaS applications, including Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and Oracle Fusion.
Integrate OCI logging services with SIEM tools such as Google SecOps.
Enable Application Performance Monitoring (APM) for Oracle Fusion and develop monitoring modules and dashboards using external tools or systems.
Test APM enablement, document configurations, and maintain relevant technical documentation.
Improve CI/CD pipelines for Oracle Fusion application deployments and updates.
Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical production issues.
Job requirements
Required Technical Skills
In-depth knowledge of fundamental OCI services, including:
Compute
Storage (Block, Object, and File)
Networking (VCNs and gateways)
Experience deploying and managing containerized applications using Docker and Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE).
Strong understanding of OCI observability services for collecting and analyzing metrics, logs, and traces.
Experience with Terraform for automating the provisioning and management of OCI resources.
Knowledge of Oracle Database, MySQL, and PostgreSQL, including performance tuning and database management.
Expertise in OCI Identity and Access Management (IAM), Vault, and security services such as Cloud Guard.
Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, Bash, or PowerShell.
Required Qualifications
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Willingness to participate in 24/7 on-call support rotations.
Ability to work onsite in Atlanta, GA, starting Day 1.
