We are pleased to inform you about an exciting opportunity with a leading inspection and testing services company in Saudi Arabia for their upcoming Shutdown Project at SABIC Yanpet, Yanbu. Please find the details below:
Important Note
This is a shutdown assignment for approximately 40 days only — it is not a rotational or permanent position.
Upon successful completion of the project, candidates may be considered for future shutdowns or long-term roles based on performance and client requirements.
Job Title: NDT Technician (Shutdown)
Project Duration: 40 Days (Shutdown)
Location: Saudi Arabia
Experience Required: Minimum 5 years in KSA
Qualifications & Certifications:
ASNT Level II Certification in UT (Ultrasonic Testing), PT (Penetrant Testing), MT (Magnetic Particle Testing)
Strong communication skills
Computer proficiency
Key Responsibilities:
Perform non-destructive testing (UT, PT, MT) during shutdown projects in compliance with safety and quality standards.
Interpret and evaluate inspection results, preparing accurate reports.
Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to ensure timely completion of shutdown activities.
Ensure all testing equipment is calibrated and maintained according to standards.
Adhere to company and client safety policies during all site activities.
Skills & Competencies:
Proficiency in NDT inspection techniques (UT, PT, MT)
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Ability to work under pressure during shutdown projects
Effective communication and reporting skills
Computer literacy for documentation and reporting
Job requirements
Experience Required: Minimum 5 years (preferably in KSA Oil & Gas / Petrochemical projects)
Certification: ASNT Level II in UTT, PT, and MT
Skills: Good communication and basic computer proficiency
Working Hours: 12 hours per day
Compensation & Benefits:
Rate: 12 SAR/hour (final rate based on interview)
