Role: LEAD BUSINESS ANALYST – Healthcare Required
Location: Reston, VA – Onsite 1–2 days/week initially
Duration: 12+ Months (Contract-to-Perm)

Purpose
Leads high-complexity requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation for enterprise systems and transformational programs. Acts as the strategic bridge between business units and technical teams, ensuring requirements are thoroughly elicited, validated, and translated into actionable specifications.
Essential Functions
30% – Requirements Management & Strategy
Lead elicitation, documentation, and validation of business/functional requirements.
Guide lower-level analysts, oversee requirement sessions, and manage open issues.
Ensure designs meet business needs and workflows.
20% – User Acceptance Testing Leadership
Own UAT planning, execution, and documentation.
Identify gaps, defects, and coordinate resolution.
Deliver formal communications and end-user training.
20% – Problem Resolution
Troubleshoot system/process issues with deep functional understanding.
Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve cross-functional challenges.
15% – Documentation & Deliverables
Create detailed business/system documentation following standards.
Support high-complexity project deliverables.
10% – Project Monitoring & Coordination
Track project progress, risks, and timelines.
Manage work requests and implementation activities.
5% – Policy & Process Support
Research and respond to policy/process-related inquiries.
Job requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (or +4 yrs experience in lieu).
8+ years business analysis, systems analysis, or testing experience.
Healthcare experience required.
Experience delivering high-quality, on-time, cost-effective solutions.
