Job description

  • Design, review, and supervise installation of fire protection and firefighting systems

  • Conduct regular inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fire detection and suppression systems (e.g., fire alarms, sprinklers, hydrants, extinguishers, foam systems)

  • Ensure all fire systems comply with SABIC and local fire safety regulations

  • Perform fire risk assessments and develop mitigation plans

  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for system upgrades or repairs

  • Investigate fire incidents, near misses, and implement corrective actions

  • Provide fire safety training and emergency response drills for site personnel

  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and internal safety teams for audits and certifications

Job requirements

Minimum 7 years of experience in petrochemical plants
✅ At least 3 years of experience with SABIC (mandatory)
🎓 Education: Degree or Diploma in Engineering / HSE / Fire & Safety
🗣️ English: Must be fluent in spoken and written English
✅ Strong knowledge of SABIC safety standards, industrial risk assessment, and emergency response
