Estimation Engineer – Painting | Abu Dhabi

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receive of new tender and keep tender register updated.
• Check thoroughly all the documents and acknowledge.
• Request for client registration if applicable.
• Prepare job approval form.
• Request for tender bond if applicable.
• Arrange price quotations for the materials concerns to the tender requirements for approval.
• Study all the tender documents (technical part commercial part).
• Prepare technical and commercial clarifications if necessary.
• Site survey and prepare bill of quantity as per scope of works.
• Identification of all resources but not limited to manpower, materials, equipment, scaffolding,
• specialized sub-contractors if any etc.
• Prepare cost estimation for all tenders in line with the requirements for final approval.
• Preparation of the bid / tender documents (Both Technical & Commercial) and ensuring its
• timely submission.
• Responsible for all clarifications from client after sub-mission, incorporating in the tender.
• Proper documentation of correspondences, filing, per required.
• Aware of IMS requirements and compliance with IMS documentation requirements.
• Upon award of contract, review the documents, check if all requirements, terms are
• considered in the submission.
• Ensuring Compliance with Health, Safety, & Environmental (HSE) Responsibilities as per the
• given induction (AR-F-HR-06_Rev. 0_16/03/2023)
• Adhere to the company’s Management Information System.
• Comply to the ISO standards of 9001 & 45001 & 14001

KNOWLEDGE SKILL AND ABILITIES

• Fluent in English (Spoken & Written)
• Good knowledge in painting, insulation, scaffolding, fireproofing refractory etc.
• Knowledge in quantity surveying, isometric, key plan, vessels, and equipment drawings.
• Estimation of materials, man-power, equipment, scaffolding and all other resources to
• complete the project as per client / ITT requirements.
• Preparation of tender, planning / scheduling, method statements and other documentation
• including procedures as per requirements laid in the enquiry. Should be able to adapt to any
• new software / techniques implemented by Company.
• Excellent knowledge of Excel, Word etc. Knowledge in MS Project, Primavera, Power Point
• and other software will be an added advantage.

MINIMUM QUALIIFICATION: -

• Engineering Degree (Preferably in Mechanical Engineering)
• 5 years overall (In Painting, insulation, scaffolding, fire proofing and refractory –all or partial) OR
• 2-3 years GCC in oil and gas preferably in the above disciplines and conversant with the requirement of oil and gas industries.
