Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Director of Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) / Clinical Engineering to oversee operations within a large, multi-hospital healthcare system. This leadership role will be responsible for managing clinical engineering operations, building strong client relationships, driving business growth, and ensuring operational excellence across multiple sites. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership capabilities, strategic thinking, and extensive experience in healthcare technology management within complex healthcare environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and lead a diverse and inclusive workforce across multiple healthcare facilities.

  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives to support operational efficiency and regional business growth.

  • Drive strong business performance within Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) operations.

  • Lead succession planning and professional development for key team members.

  • Build and manage a high-performing, collaborative team focused on delivering exceptional service solutions.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client leadership and maintain strong governance and communication structures.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as organizational policies and procedures.

  • Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety programs and recommending improvements where necessary.

  • Monitor financial performance, assess risks and opportunities, and communicate results to senior leadership.

  • Support initiatives to address cybersecurity challenges and solutions related to healthcare technology systems.

Position Summary

This leadership role is responsible for overseeing client relationships and operational performance across multiple facilities within a healthcare system. The Director will ensure operational excellence by consistently delivering services that meet contractual commitments and organizational standards, ensuring services are predictable, reliable, and repeatable.

Job requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience

  • Minimum 7 years of management experience

  • Minimum 7 years of functional experience in Healthcare Technology Management or Clinical Engineering

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven leadership experience in Healthcare Technology Management within a large healthcare environment

  • Strong ability to develop and maintain client relationships and governance structures

  • Demonstrated business and financial management skills, including budgeting and performance analysis

  • Ability to lead, coach, and mentor multidisciplinary teams

  • Experience ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards

  • Understanding of cybersecurity challenges and solutions in healthcare technology environments
