Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement enterprise-wide data architecture that supports business strategy and growth.

  • Develop data models, data lakes, and data warehouses for both structured and unstructured data.

  • Establish and enforce data governance, security, and compliance frameworks across the organization.

  • Evaluate and recommend data storage, processing, and management technologies (SQL/NoSQL, cloud platforms, etc.).

  • Lead data integration, migration, and ETL initiatives across diverse systems and platforms.

  • Collaborate with engineering, business intelligence (BI), and analytics teams to ensure data accessibility and flow efficiency.

  • Monitor and optimize database performance, scalability, and security.

  • Ensure compliance with GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA, and other relevant regulatory standards.

  • Stay current with emerging data technologies, tools, and industry best practices to continually improve data capabilities.

Job requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Enterprise Data Architecture and Data Modeling.

  • Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra).

  • Strong hands-on experience with cloud data platforms such as AWS (Redshift), Azure (Synapse), and GCP (BigQuery, Snowflake).

  • Expertise in Big Data technologies and Analytics platforms.

  • Solid understanding of ETL and Data Integration processes.

  • Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and data security frameworks.

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work across cross-functional teams
