Construction Manager (OHTL) - Saudi Arabia & UAE

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Construction Manager ( Indian nationalities ) for one of our client's combany based in saudi arabia and UAE, to lead the execution of 380 kV Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL) projects in Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

The ideal candidate will have a robust background in electrical engineering and extensive experience in managing high-voltage OHTL projects. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a thorough understanding of project management principles to ensure the successful completion of the project.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Management:
Lead and oversee the entire lifecycle of 380 kV OHTL projects from planning to commissioning.Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.Technical Oversight:Review and validate engineering designs, technical specifications, and construction documentation for 380 kV transmission lines.Ensure all construction activities comply with national and international standards, including safety and quality regulations.Site Management:Supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring they are carried out in accordance with the project plan and safety guidelines.Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.Manage subcontractors, ensuring their work meets project requirements and timelines.Resource Management:Efficiently allocate and manage project resources, including labor, equipment, and materials.Monitor project expenditures and implement cost control measures to maintain budget compliance.

Stakeholder Coordination:
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities.Prepare and deliver detailed project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.Facilitate effective communication and coordination among all project stakeholders.Risk Management:Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project delivery.Enforce rigorous safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.

Quality Assurance:
Implement and oversee quality control processes to ensure the highest standards of workmanship and material quality.Conduct regular audits and inspections to verify compliance with project specifications and industry standards.Commissioning and Handover:Oversee the testing and commissioning of the 380 kV transmission line system.Ensure the seamless transition and handover of the completed project to the operations and maintenance team.Qualifications and


Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Problem-Solving: Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities.Adaptability: Ability to manage projects in diverse and challenging environments.Additional Requirements:Willingness to relocate to Saudi Arabia or UAE as per project requirements.Valid driver's license and the ability to travel frequently.Certification in project management (PMP or equivalent) is advantageous.

Accountable for work execution and project monitoring and control of the daily activity of construction

• Provide technical inputs for methodologies of construction
  

• Co-ordinate between different sites and synchronize their activities
  

• Manage resource mobilization and resource sharing among various sites
  

• Handle allocation of tasks within teams based on skill profile
  

• Prepare bills for payments
  

• Estimate quantities & orders of materials for construction
  

• Coordinate with site representative of client/consultant
  

• Responsible for optimal utilization of resources (man, management and material) and manage vendors, clients and contractors
  

• Handle material management for site and coordinate with store keeper
  

• Co-ordinate with quality and HSE departments to implement all the health and safety measures
  

• Responsible for quality assurance and documentation
  

Supervising:

Supervise all construction activities of all sites

• Monitor the progress of project and updates project manager as frequently as required
  

Skills:Education: Bachelor of Engineering (BE / B.Tech ) in Electrical or ( BE / B.Tech ) in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE)Experience: Minimum 16 years in construction management, specifically in high-voltage (380 kV) OHTL projects.Technical Skills:Extensive knowledge of 380 kV OHTL construction methodologies and practices.Proficiency in project management software and tools.Strong understanding of high-voltage electrical engineering principles and standards.Leadership: Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.

Must have experience in T&D (Transmittion and Distribution)

OHTL, Underground distribution, EPC Distribution Etc.

Current designation as Construction Manager on 1st preference.

Salary - 40,000 USD per Annum
