Job description

We are currently hiring an experienced Civil Engineer (Rotating Equipment & Mechanical Section) for a leading Oil & Gas project.

Position: Civil Engineer
Job Location: KSA (Saudi Arabia)
Industry: Oil & Gas / Engineering
Experience: Minimum 10 years
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

Face to Face Interview In Singapore - April 1st Week

Policies & Processes

  • Follow approved section policies, processes, and procedures.

  • Ensure work is carried out in a controlled and compliant manner.

Day-to-Day Operations

  • Manage daily operations assigned within the Technical Support department.

  • Ensure compliance with established standards and operational procedures.

Civil Engineering Optimization

  • Evaluate and improve civil engineering specifications including:

    • Infrastructure

    • Site development

    • Oil & Gas project facilities

  • Conduct assessments to identify improvement opportunities.

  • Ensure adherence to industry standards.

Engineering Support & Consultation

  • Provide engineering support and technical consultation on civil engineering components.

  • Troubleshoot engineering issues.

  • Offer expertise in the design, construction, and maintenance of civil structures and facilities.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex engineering challenges.

Failure Analysis & Root Cause Investigation

  • Support failure analysis investigations for civil engineering components.

  • Conduct root cause analysis.

  • Develop corrective and preventive actions.

  • Work with reliability engineers to implement improvements and prevent recurrence.

Engineering Studies & Design Management

  • Oversee engineering studies and design requests.

  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely completion of design tasks.

  • Provide technical guidance for engineering studies.

Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure civil engineering components comply with industry regulations and standards.

  • Maintain records of inspections, performance assessments, and failure analyses.

  • Coordinate with regulatory teams to resolve compliance issues.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain proper engineering documentation.

  • Prepare timely and accurate reports for the section.

Safety, Health & Environment

  • Follow all relevant HSE policies and procedures.

  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Perform additional duties as required by the function of the role.

Job requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

Minimum 10 years of experience in a related field, preferably in Oil & Gas

English proficiency: KJO L4 – Intermediate
