Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced CAD Designer to join a leading civil engineering firm in Indianapolis, IN. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with roadway and/or bridge design and be proficient in MicroStation and GEOPAK/InRoads/OpenRoads Designer, following INDOT/ODOT design standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain CADD files, models, and detailed drawings.

  • Support roadway and bridge design projects following INDOT/ODOT standards.

  • Utilize MicroStation and related design tools effectively.

  • Collaborate with engineers to ensure design accuracy and compliance.

Must-Have Skills

  1. 3+ years of CAD drafting experience in roadway and/or bridge design.

  2. Proficiency in MicroStation.

  3. Familiarity with GEOPAK, InRoads, or OpenRoads Designer.

  4. Strong understanding of INDOT/ODOT design standards and procedures.

  • High school diploma required; Associate’s Degree in CADD or related program preferred.

  • Minimum 3 years of CAD drafting experience in road and/or bridge projects.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience with INDOT/ODOT standards and procedures.

  • 100% onsite role (no remote option).
