Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle Nonimmigrant Visa Matters from End-to-End

  • Draft and assemble O-1A/O-1B petitions with comprehensive evidentiary packages

  • Prepare I-140 immigrant petitions under various classifications

  • Draft EB-1A/EB-2 NIW petitions with arguments

  • Manage L-1A/L-1B intracompany transferee petitions

  • Prepare E-1, E-2 treaty-based nonimmigrant filings

  • Draft support letters, legal briefs, and cover memoranda

Immigrant Visa & Green Card Matters:

  • Manage PERM labor certification cases from recruitment to filing

  • Coordinate consular processing matters and immigrant visa packages

Case Management & Client Relations:

  • Serve as primary point of contact for assigned clients

  • Monitor USCIS/DOL processing times and case status

  • Draft and respond to Requests for Evidence (RFEs) and Notices of Intent to Deny (NOIDs)

  • Maintain accurate case files and track important dates

Job requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 2–4 years of hands-on immigration paralegal experience in a law firm or corporate legal department

  • Demonstrated end-to-end experience with H-1B, O-1, L-1, and at least one immigrant visa pathway (PERM, EB-1, EB-2, or EB-2 NIW)

  • Proficiency in drafting petition support letters, cover memoranda, and RFE responses independently

  • Strong working knowledge of the INA, 8 C.F.R., 20 C.F.R. Part 656 (PERM), USCIS Policy Manual, and relevant AAO/BIA precedent decisions

  • Familiarity with DOL FLAG System, USCIS ELIS, and myUSCIS case tracking

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain complex immigration concepts to non-attorney clients

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage 80+ active files simultaneously without sacrificing quality

  • Bachelor’s degree required; paralegal certificate or J.D. (non-licensed) strongly preferred
