About the Role

We are seeking a Planning Engineer with strong experience in Transmission Line project planning, coordination, and progress monitoring. The role involves schedule management, interdepartmental coordination, progress reporting, revenue/cost analysis, and supporting project teams with accurate planning data with forecast.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Control, coordinate, and monitor all site activities; prepare daily/weekly/monthly progress reports.

  • Work closely with internal teams and clients for smooth coordination across all project aspects.

  • Prepare revenue vs. cost analysis, budgeting, and approval note sheets via SAP.

  • Develop and update project schedules; ensure timely progress tracking and reporting.

  • Maintain planning documentation and support project execution teams.

  • Plan and coordinate OHL (Overhead Line) construction activities.

 

Skills & Requirements

  • Proficient in Primavera (P6) and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Strong understanding of Transmission Line projects (preferably up to 500 kV and above).

  • Experience in OHL planning, site coordination, and documentation.

  • Good communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

  • Ready to travel to site as necessary during project implementation.

Job requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 6+ years in project planning and scheduling.

  • Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical or Civil Engineering (Regular).

  • Software Expertise: Proficient in Primavera P6 for project planning and scheduling.

  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies and project management principles.

  • Excellent communication, analytical, and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

  • Middle East experience is preferred.

Mandatory Skill:

  • Project experience in Transmission Line above 500 KV.
