We have job opportunity as “Assistant Manager-HR” for our esteemed client in T & D industry in UAE.

Position Summary

The Assistant Manager – HR will support the HR Manager in managing end-to-end human resources functions for large-scale Transmission & Distribution (T&D) and Substation projects. The role focuses on manpower planning, recruitment, HR operations, compliance with UAE labor laws, and employee relations across project and corporate locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end recruitment and onboarding for project and corporate roles including engineers, site staff, and support functions.

  • Coordinate manpower planning in line with project requirements and mobilization schedules.

  • Handle HR operations such as employee records, contracts, leave management, attendance, and payroll coordination.

  • Ensure compliance with UAE Labor Law, company HR policies, and client requirements.

  • Manage employee relations, grievance handling, and disciplinary processes.

  • Coordinate visa, work permit, and PRO-related activities in liaison with external agencies.

  • Assist in performance management processes, appraisals, and employee development initiatives.

  • Support training and competency development programs for technical and non-technical staff.

  • Prepare HR reports, dashboards, and MIS for management review.

  • Assist in audits, client inspections, and ISO or internal compliance requirements.

  • Act as a key HR point of contact for site and project teams.

Job requirements

  1. Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline.

  2. Experience: Minimum 7 years of HR experience, preferably in Transmission & Distribution / Substation / EPC projects.

  3. UAE Experience: Prior UAE or GCC experience will be a strong advantage.

  4. Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws, visa processes, and HR best practices.

  5. Experience handling HR for site-based and project-driven environments.

  6. Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.

  7. Proficient in MS Office and HR systems.
