Job description

Job Summary:

The Analyzer Service Engineer is responsible for the installation, commissioning, calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Online process and environmental analyzers (e.g., gas chromatographs, BTU and Wobbe index, oxygen analyzers, CEMS, pH, Conductivity, Si, TOC, Na analyzers). The role ensures that analyzers perform reliably and accurately according to industry standards and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation & Commissioning

    • Install and commission analyzer systems (gas, liquid, emission) on client sites.

    • Conduct site acceptance testing (SAT) and ensure smooth handover to operations.

  • Maintenance & Calibration

    • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on analyzers and associated sampling systems.

    • Calibrate analyzers according to SOPs and industry standards.

  • Technical Support

    • Diagnose technical issues and implement effective solutions onsite or remotely.

    • Provide technical assistance to clients and internal teams.

  • Documentation & Reporting

    • Maintain service logs, calibration certificates, and detailed reports for each service activity.

    • Document issues, root causes, and resolutions for continuous improvement.

    • FAT & SAT procedures and Training materials / Handouts for customers.

  • Training & Compliance

    • Train end-users and plant operators on analyzer operation and maintenance procedures.

    • Adhere to site safety procedures, ISO standards, and environmental regulations.

  • Travel & Coordination

    • Travel to customer sites (local/regional) for service calls and project support.

Coordinate with engineering and sales teams for project planning and execution.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Diploma in Instrumentation, Electronics, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

  • 4–6 years of experience in analyzer service, instrumentation, or process automation.

  • Hands-on experience with analyzers (e.g., Siemens, ABB, Yokogawa, Emerson, Thermo Fisher, Hobre, Teledyne, Hach, etc).

  • Familiarity with sampling systems, CEMS, or hazardous area compliance, etc.

Experience in KSA / GCC will be given preference.
