Job Title: Accountant
Location: Naigaon (On-site)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage our financial transactions, including accounting, invoice management, and dues collection. The ideal candidate will also handle various administrative responsibilities and assist in ensuring the smooth financial operations of the company. Candidates with international experience, particularly those who have worked with businesses in foreign countries or managed transactions in multiple currencies, will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounting: Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, balance sheets, and income statements.
- Invoice Management: Prepare, send, and manage invoices. Ensure timely payment from clients and maintain accurate records of all transactions.
- Dues Collection: Track outstanding dues and follow up with clients to ensure timely payments. Implement strategies to minimize overdue accounts.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations.
- Bank Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile bank statements with company records to ensure accuracy.
- Administrative Support : Assist in various administrative tasks, including managing office supplies, coordinating meetings, and supporting other departments as needed.
- Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, prepare and file tax returns, and work with auditors during financial audits.
- International Transactions: Manage transactions in foreign currencies, handle exchange rates, and ensure compliance with international financial regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-5 years of accounting experience.
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Preferred: Candidates with experience working in international settings or with foreign currencies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working with international clients or businesses.
- Knowledge of multiple currencies and international financial regulations.
- Experience in handling cross-border transactions and financial reporting.
